Al-Hayat International Hospital has opened the first nuclear medicine department in the city of Mosul, equipped with the latest PET Scan and gamma camera systems. The department spares patients the difficulty of travelling outside the governorate for treatment, and its specialised staff and diagnostic equipment enable early detection of tumours and of cardiac, endocrine and bone disease.
